The discussion found five critical points:
1. Violent conflict is one of root causes of poverty. A protracted violent conflict can destroy social, economy, and political infrastructure in which people lose their capacity in improving their prosperity. However violent conflict also can be caused by an injustice system that some groups resist the system by using violence means.
In my perception, actually we need to ignore the interest behind violent conflicts. What we should be concern is how to prevent violent conflicts.
2. The global policies of international organization such as WB and IMF impoverish people in developing countries. However we still need to elaborate more deeply this issue.
3. An injustice system of state hampers its society to improve their life. In some cases this fact relates to the global policies of WB and IMF.
4. The low capacity of people in improving their life.
5. It is a new perspective in our last moment, about consumer's apathy in such Japan industrial society. May be it is not only about a charity but how an 'economy capital' is merely wasted. How if 'economy capital' of industrial society is transfered to poor people? How do we do that?
